import of 100's of building permits
from a weekly file in seconds...
Step
1. Download a permit list CSV file anywhere to your
computer... (sample
CSV file - zipped)
Step 2. Open ConstructionTracker
so you can see the uppper menu bar...
Step 3. Click on
'Import' button on the upper menu bar in ConstructionTracker
and this import form opens...
Step 4. Click on
the Open Folder button on the far right side to browse
to the CSV file...
Step 5. The 'Locate
Data File' window opens and allows you to find it...
just double click the file to load it...
Step 6. Or select
it and then click the Open button in the Locate
Data File dialog form to load it...
Step 5. Now
that you have the path to the CSV file loaded in the
import CSV file form click on import button
Step 6. Next, in a second or
two all permits are imported and distributed
The imported
Permit data is now in the Permits table and displayed
in the Permits Form...
You
can see every imported permit, or filter/search by city,
sales rep, status, etc. using the Filter form...
also
print the permit data, assign a Sales Rep, and create
separate notes for each permit with
contact dates, follow
up dates and follow up notes...
